Glasgiven Contracts Limited recently handed over the second and final phase of the new Cherrywood Educate Together National School, Dublin.

This €13.5 Million school project was delivered under the Department of Education and Skills Design and Build Schools Framework. The primary school building consists of 24 classrooms, 2 SEN units, ancillary pupil and staff facilities, a large GP hall with a total floor area of 4,510sq.m. New car parking, hard and soft play areas, ball courts and landscaping have been provided externally.

Colm Rodgers, Director at Glasgiven Contracts said:

“We are very proud to deliver this school as part of the BAM/Glasgiven JV. We have successfully reached the final milestone in our journey towards providing a centre of educational excellence for the Cherrywood community. This new school provides state-of-the-art facilities which naturally create a child centred, co-educational environment which promotes the core values of Educate Together. It will hopefully play a transformative role in the local area and have a long-lasting impact on the lives of the surrounding communities”

This prestigious school building was completed for the @Department of Education – Ireland, in collaboration with @KSN Project Management, @MCOH Architects, @Downes & Associates, @OCSC and @HLM Architects.
